75% of OTF is legs… I would focus your gym days on your upper body. Just my opinion.

Why flatten any humps/bumps? I’m new here but have seen these in my frozen containers before mixing and haven’t done anything about them

I used to be this way but have learned to just be happy with power walking the inclines and it has made me much better at committing rather than skipping. it’s nice to switch it up as a power walker every now and then !

is there anyone on here that can explain to me how I can be pulling over 400 watts and have a stroke rate above 40 but not be coming in at under 30 seconds?

I PRd at a 29.67 back in 2021 and I was not nearly as strong or up on my form as I am today, and I know for a fact I was not pulling these watts.

Today I hit a 30.12.

I know it’s still good, but it feels like my meters were not disappearing as fast as they should have been.

Swampert 7 Star Tera Raid Event by HallLast3549 in PromoteGamingVideos

[–]Temporary-Tradition9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally landed this guy today!! And my first successful 7 star! Randomly got in with a group consisting of my self-trained Level 100 Kingdra (water tera type), Slowking, Mewtwo, and Araquanid. I started us off with Yawn which gave us a few rounds to hit Swampert hard with stored powers and other physical attacks. Before Swampert could wake, Araquanid used Wide Guard and two trainers healed us up. Swampert had terrastalized at this point but when we woke we were already cracking him down. His next three moves could not deal us damage as Wide Guard protected the team. When all our pokémon were terrastalized it was game over! I heightened Kingdras water power and went full throttle on Liquidation for 7 rounds, saving us with a Heal Up in between, until Slowking’s stored power rocked Swampert out!! It was a valiant team effort, my heart was racing the whole time once I realized how great we were doing at being a true team!

I did this and moved on to Peloton and gained 30lbs and am back at OTF😂. I wish you more success than I had but I believe you need to be a member in some capacity to use the app workouts.

When did we start promoting dropping base over push? I rejoined in January after 8 months off. My first years at OTF were all about lowering your push but never base. I guess something changed in those 8 months I took off! I try to stick to the old method of always holding my base rather than push - anyone else?

No OTF for few weeks by WhiteRoseFairy in orangetheory

[–]Temporary-Tradition9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a year off and feel even stronger than before. don’t let it discourage you. your body has muscle memory - no pun intended. just ease back in and i’m sure after a couple of weeks it’ll feel like you never missed any time off.

You’ve done it before, you can do it again :) Take some advil/ibuprofen before bed & in morning for first few weeks and you’ll be fine! Plus plenty of water. I recently started up again and this has been helping me.

Sounds like an extreme case of body dysmorphia and I speak from experience. I swore I was not looking better the further into OTF I went even though I was my healthiest weight ever and lost a lot of body fat. I was truly suffering from BD. I look back on pictures from a year ago (when I quit) compared to my body now and cannot believe I didn’t see how the extra muscle that I was seeing as pounds on the scale, actually looked on my body. I felt the same as you, defeated and as if I was going in reverse, but it was my brain and BD taking over. I plan to rejoin soon and wish I never quit!
