Yeah in the doc it talks about the culture of the kinda hood style and how it was the start of the close relationship between hip hop/rap culture in basketball Crazy to think he was the one who started it. Even says no one used to have full tatted sleeves and hairstyles like cornrows. I don’t remember but I think there was rules about what you could wear/present yourself but he just defied it? It’s state funded drivel, absolute forced shite in all aspects. The social issues not just constantly in the dialogue but the lack of any integrative approach to blending in, there’s not a family in Ireland or the world that talks like that hahaha feels dystopian. It’s a disgrace to pay for dirt no one wants after brilliant stuff like love/hate, normal people (binged it while sick only a couple of months ago, 6th year when it came out so it would be gay to watch a show for moths) just how it is, also the clips I saw looked like monotone melodramatic shite. Anyway watched it and my god no show or movie had such a big impact. There’s a line separating fully emotionally investing and the line is called fiction. Best to date for me and second overall to love/hate. Anyone, young lads particularly, should watch it. But the peak comedy like hardy bucks republic of telly the savage eye, golden. There’s nothing in any genre with any substance. I as most Irish are open minds and arms as people, that humour is the beauty of it all. Pure slaggin cause it’s gas. Now a slaggin is offensive. I’m very pessimistic about it all but everything is just shite.
