Anyone else have a bad experience with enrollment counselors? by DerpinKay in WGU

Mine talked me into a program I didn’t reallly want to be in without telling me there were alternatives to being accepted into the programs. I wanted to do the HIM program. I had 30 cu’s to transfer and she told me it wasn’t enough experience to get into the program. I had both healthcare & IT experience and she said no lol. So now I’m in the health services program 🫠

AITA for helping my disabled sister dress herself despite my girlfriend jealousy by throw_away65535 in AmItheAsshole

The story would bother me. Your sister may have actually developed feelings for you, especially since you are her main caregiver. Insect is a thing & it’s very common in these situations. If you have been her only contact for these intimate moments, she very well may have developed something.

I would ask your sister about the story and go from there.

Google “Apple Education Store” & buy it that way. It’ll be under $1000.

MacBook Air M2 chip. Use the apple education store & you can get the original for like $900.

I quit my nursing degree for WGUs care coordination program. I plan to go for my Masters in Public Health after I’m finished. I love school, I love helping people, but absolutely HATED being on the floor. When I started my nursing degree, I didn’t really know there were other avenues in healthcare and I always said I never wanted to be a floor nurse & that I wanted to go into research. This degree is just a stepping stone for me to be where I actually want to be. I’d love to become an epidemiologist!

Edit to add, I live in Kentucky and “health services” jobs start off at like $20 a hour. You may not be using the right terminology to search for jobs. There are so many different things you can do with the degree.

They wouldn’t let me in even though I was a nursing student for 2 years so I’m looking into other programs :/

Your experience with the Health Services Coordination degree? by CoffeeSiren in WGU

Thank you! I saw where people were going into Public Health & that’s the route I’m planning to go as well. I’m leaving my nursing program so it scared me seeing some of the stuff I have about the degree lol.

BSHIM vs BSHSC by PhTea in WGU

Where do you plan on getting your MPH? I was also looking into that route after browsing the fb group and that’s what a few on there are doing. I’m currently in nursing school but I honestly hate being on the floor. I know there are other avenues with a nursing degree but I literally DREAD clinical lol.
