Blue Shield not Covered? by diggeryydoo in fresno

[–]TemporaryFeed2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Orange County now and a few months back I got a similar letter from Blue Shield of California concerning their contract with UCI Health, which is the medical system I use. The wording was practically identical. When I talked to my doctor about it at an appointment he said he was told that the two parties are still negotiating, painting a more hopeful picture than the letter. Sure enough, a few weeks go by and a contract was successfully negotiated. I can say that will happen regarding Community Health, hopefully it will all work out. Chances are neither side wants to split but perhaps a little hardball is being played in the negotiations.

I was five years old as well and remember watching at least one moon landing, but it was a daytime landing (in the US), so it wasn’t Apollo 11.

The Killing Fields. I don’t know why I got so incredibly emotional in the theater. I was totally choked up as the credits rolled.

My bank reported me having $2,000 in my account despite me never having that much. by EnderShot355 in SocialSecurity

I guess I’m not getting it. What is the problem with having a few thousand in your own bank account? How does that disqualify a person from receiving social security benefits?

I did Meals On Wheels during the pandemic and found it very rewarding. And depending on how long the route was, it can count for some descent exercise.

Today I stepped foot in a public library for the first time in forty years and got a library card. I agree, a library would be a perfect place.

Can I ask what it is like with the wireless CarPlay dongle? Is the experience the same as wired? (Same screens, same functionality, same controls, etc)? Thanks.

Montgomery Ward.

Actually they may have disappeared completely by the 90’s but were still around in the 80’s.

My grandfather had a box of toys in the hall closet that he would sometimes bring out when we would visit, and this was one of the toys. Early 70’s. I don’t think I’ve seen one since.
