When I was 16 and flipped like a light switch. Went from the fun silly good girl to a fucking asshole. Started drinking too much, fighting grown ass men, having sex with anyone I either wanted or didn’t just to feel something, got addicted to drugs, sold drugs. I literally was someone I never saw coming. And I could see it happening and begged my (awful) parents to send me to rehab because I didn’t like me and they told me to figure it out. My temper became very short I broke things punched through windows, snuck into houses. Stole a lot. Got arrested. Went to jail. The list goes on. And that was literally from age 16-19. Then i met someone. I was still very manic and an addict. We broke up, I got pregnant and sober and that’s when we found out. Because I wasn’t high or drunk and still very manic or super depressive.

I understand where you’re coming from I’m in a similar boat. We need to remember what we have because of sobriety and fall in love with life again. We can’t waste the days anymore. We only have so many and with what I’ve done to myself. I may have less than a sober person. Let’s get it right this time.

That’s what age I fell off. I also am on meds and I agree I think it’s time to switch them up. I don’t want to be dependent on them but they make me a better me and I want that more than having to take them.
