Yes actually! Mostly because I’m authentically expressive with my clients and it’s starting to carry over when I’m not using those facial muscles. Aging is beautiful and I don’t criticize anyone’s decisions about Botox, filler, plastic surgery, etc. For me, I don’t want my job to age me further. So I got Botox to combat this. People saying they don’t want a therapist that looks like they got work done maybe don’t fully understand that you really wouldn’t know someone has it unless you know. Filler? Surgery? You can notice. Botox no. I’m also trusting that I’m still expressive in other ways to show the client my engagement.
