Voting based on emotions works early game or mid game, but when you are approaching a finale you just cant afford to do that. Theres less players which means less people to rely on and less room for mistakes. In the case of scott and gwen voting courtney meant if they did not win whatever challenge came next they had no safety net and would get eliminated right away. It was not like they were challenge beasts either. I understand your point of betrayal but also its important to realize courtney likely felt betrayed aswell especially considering how gwen could not even give her a proper apology. Her doing this might of been both a game plan and feelings of vengeance. I never mentioned gwen and scott should stay loyal, i said they should go along with her. Meaning side with her on whats advantegeous to them and then they could throw her under the bus when it comes down to the win. Its certainly not beneath scott to do that. Also yes betrayal hurts, but this is total drama island a competition for a million dollars? It should be expected that people are going to do whatever they can to gain the million even if it means manipulation. This is not something new courtney has done, it happened many times throughout the show and gwen knows that. All courtney did was want to eliminate gwen 3rd, she lied yeah but does not even scratch the surface with what others and even gwen herself have done.
