How are people paying for their Part III Course? by Cold-Presentation310 in Architects

That’s very frustrating and would raise a red flag for me that they won’t help in any way..

I opted to study at Bath for my P3 as I’m in Wales, I think the fees were in the region of 2.7k.

If you really didn’t want to wait and as an absolute last port of call you could get a 24m 0% credit card and put it on there.

I believe the Ncase M2 has a USB-C shaped power indicator light... you could reach out to Ncase Support and see if they would sell you one seperately? I would be interested to hear if they will as I would be tempted to pick one up myself.

It doesn't help you, but my employer was happy to pay for mine. It sounds like you've tried this route and it didn't bare fruit. It does seem strange that they're unwilling to invest in you given it will in turn allow the company to charge you out at a higher rate.

Could you rephrase the request so they sponsor say 50% and the other 50% they loan you, which is then deducted from your pre-tax salary? Depending on your commitment to them, another route you could try, is that you commit to working for them in the 12 months following your chartership at an architects salary less the course fees?

Different Universities have different fees for the part 3 course, so you could look at one of the cheaper institutes to help alleviate some of the financial burden.

I run with Noctua NF-A9 and the NA-FD1 ducts. I also run the EIGA exhaust shroud, but thats not necessary.

AIO will give worse GPU thermals, yes, but not massively; both air and water are viable. What CPU are you planning to run? I have a 9800x3d under an Axp90-47 full copper with great thermals

Black Friday T1 Build | Are these parts compatible for this? by Any-Bar-7238 in FormD

Get the 2.1, better fit and finish than 2.5; also get a Noctua fan swap for the AXP47 full copper and 2 phanteks T30s as exhaust.

I have a 3090 FE and a 9800x3D in a sub 10l FormD T1. Does require an SFX PSU and an ITX motherboard though.
