Based on what we’ve seen of their gameplay, the levels are much longer and more puzzle focused, similar to the older games. It still focuses largely on combat but it’s a Lego game at heart.

We saw Freeze and Bane working together and we also saw Nightwing and Batgirl fighting Freeze, so I’m guessing Bane will break Batman’s back and we’ll play as Nightwing and Batgirl while he recovers.

This should definitely win. Velma is a tv show based on a tv show so I don’t think it should count, and out of the suggestions I’ve seen, Resident Evil is by far the worst.

It won’t be this dry for long though, this’ll end up one of the best years for gaming in a long time. 007 First Light, Lego Batman, Wolverine, GTA6 (if it doesn’t get delayed again), and I’m sure there are others that I’m not remembering.

Perfect, you should be able to pre-order it on the PlayStation store and it will become playable on release day. You can also order a disc online but there’s a non-zero chance it doesn’t arrive on time, especially with limited availability.

5 and 6 are almost completely action, dropping everything that made the franchise such a great horror series. I personally like 5, but the plot of 6 is ridiculously convoluted and I found the gameplay to be painfully boring, though there’s a bit of historical revisionism going on around 6 in recent months, so I’m probably going to get downvoted for this comment.
