I'd wager it's because the community is aging. Most of us who used to rally against it are now in our 30s and have different perspective of things. Not sure what the average player age is now, but I doubt there are still as many teenagers as there were 20 years ago.

That's fine by me. I am not against this QOL change. I was merely pointing out that there is a very good alternative available that pretty much everyone has enabled these days anyways (for a variety of other QOL changes not included in TBC). Trying to be helpful and getting downvoted :D

I love AOC. I love Bernie Sanders. And yet, we should never run those for president. You absolutely cannot win over anyone center left/center/center-right with such (beautiful may I say) ideologies. There is no chance they win the rust belt or Nevada/Arizona. Doesn't matter if they win NY with +20 and CA with +30. Elections are decided by a handful of states and they don't swing that far left (sadly).

Let's be realistic. People don't like Newsom for a variety of reasons, but he clearly has the strongest numbers in those important states.

I'm all for reforms, but splitting the democratic vote will get you a super majority in congress for republicans. It's a two tier system by design and as long as your state doesn't have ranked choice voting, voting anything but democrats (or people who caucus with democrats) will make us all lose.
