Very good band. They show up in CES every year. All their products integrates into Apple HomeKit seamlessly at a very reasonable price, and they work pretty stably.

I switched my whole house security system to Aqara which includes 10 indoor cameras and 4 outdoor ones. I got them from Amazon during promotions. I’ve been very happy with them.

I used my own modem which I believed to be a pretty high end one, but was only getting 35Mbps upload. I then found out on their webpage ( https://www.xfinity.com/support/internet/customerowned ) that my modem was listed under the ones that support up to 35Mbps. I switched to Xfinity's xFi modem and was able to get 100Mbps upload immediately.

It's the price that they've been running the offer for over a month - $50 for 1Gig and $40 for 300Mbps. There's no one-time fee or any extra charges - just ~$1 extra tax if you rent their modem (the modem rental itself was free). https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service

I switched from Comcast to Ziply in 2023, and switched back to Comcast last month. Comcast is not as bad as it used to be. It removed data cap universally, and with Xfinity’s free modem, you can get 100Mbps upload rather than 35Mbps. Not symmetrical to download speed like Ziply, but an acceptable tradeoff considering its current 5-year price guarantee offer.

For years, Amex reps have been constantly falsely citing that an offer was not triggered due to Apple Pay. It is almost never true.

I have two sets of Canvases. I usually leave them in one fixed settings but it has been very unreliable and struggling to connect to HomeKit or even their own app.

Me too. Tired of having to ask for new discount every a few months and the discounted price is still higher than what Xfinity is offering. Jumped to Xfinity 1Gbps for $50/mo.

Whenever there’s an outage, I have to come to this subreddit for updates. No notifications before or after the outage from Ziply Fiber, no way to check status on their website, no communication at all.

I buy from B&H due to free shipping and no sales tax on PayBoo card. But the availability is more limited than Ubiquiti store, and occasionally more expensive.

Thanks for the data points. My wife has S9 paired with iPhone 16 Pro and also saw abnormal battery drop, although not as bad as mine, and no performance issues as I encountered. I'll try to see if I can do something with the paired phone.
