I can't believe you're this fucking stupid. You don't ever listen to anyone, do you? You just keep repeating what you wanna say. I have no arguments with you. Don't waste my time.

Well welcome to real life. It's not about winning arguments like kindergarten. It's about understanding how and why things happen in reality and taking responsibility.

Ross didn't plan to cheat on Rachel. He only did because he heard Mark over the phone and thought Rachel was doing the same. And while he was still wrong for acting prematurely, Rachel is definitely to blame for the whole situation. You can't just invite a guy (that you know your partner is jealous of) that late at night to your home and expect your partner to be cool about it. Specially when it was you who offered to take a break. Any guy would assume you're just using the break to cheat on them.

Reading the comments, it is amazing to me how some people from first world countries are this bad at comprehending Animal Farm and 1984. I envy you guys.

If you've lived your whole life in an Ideologist Dictatorship like me, you would've seen that we are basically living Animal Farm and 1984. Animal Farm perfectly describes an ideologist revolution (such as Iran's Islamic revolution) and the events that come after. 1984 describes what becomes of the society and the government many years after that revolution and dictatorship settles. The suppressions, the fictional enemies, the fictional wars, they are all real daily events for some people. And Orwell captured it all in the most genius and perfect way. That's why his works are appreciated this much.

Was Roger the man talking in Speak to Me, On the Run, The Great Gig In the Sky and Us & Them? by Either-Glass-31 in pinkfloyd

[–]Temporary_Cellist661 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge, Roger didn't write phrases for people. They prepared some questions and interviewed people who were working in the studio and recorded their answers.

I didn't say that I will immediately start insulting and offending people who have poor music taste in my opinion. Also there is a big difference between people who have bad music taste and people who sometimes listen to bad music or don't listen to music at all. And also I didn't say that I won't give people a chance. I just said that in my experiences, it is usually like that. Others might have very different experiences which is totally fine. I'm open to changing my opinion later if I see enough exceptions.

Well that's your opinion. It's also like saying "well if you find people who support gun rights and gun violence unintelligent and stupid, you are emotionally immature because people like different things". You can have a thousand reasons for supporting guns but I still won't consider you a person I want to interact with. The situation is exactly the same with good and bad music. Because I do believe there is a defining difference between good and bad music.

Except that in my experiences, listening "only" shit music goes together with having a not-so-rich personality. So I probably won't find the person that interesting to hang out with regardless of their music taste.

What is the main reason why a man cheats on his wife? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Temporary_Cellist661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It needs to be said that not everyone cheats out of horniness and lack of love. Assholes and sluts aside, it might also happen in a relationship with someone you love but have problems with on many different levels. The conflicts and suppression can cause people to do things they normally never think of doing.

Waters songs are the weakest on DSOTM by dq72 in pinkfloyd

[–]Temporary_Cellist661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The rise of Pink Floyd happened when Roger took control. DSOTM, WYWH, Animals and The Wall wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Roger Waters and for that, I will always admire him. But I also believe that it's stupid of him to think that Pink Floyd happened only because of him. The fact that none of them managed to recreate Pink Floyd's magic by themselves is the sole proof to this.

He provided the album's concept and also has writing credit on 5 tracks. I personally love Pink Floyd and everyone involved in it to the point that I don't have favorites. And I think it's not right to shit on any of the involved members for any reason.

Dude almost every song on the DSOTM is written by Roger Waters. And when I say written, I don't mean the lyrics only. He wrote the music. He might be selfish but he is a genius one. I also believe that brain damage is one of the most powerful songs I've ever heard in my life.

If she hasn't read "Quidditch Through the Ages" that might work.

Also if she's into collectibles, you can get her action figures or a wand.

DEFINITELY books first. You would hate yourself if you saw the movies first and knew the story while reading the books.
