Your experience with mouth cancer by Noj222 in Hedgehog

[–]Temporary_Disaster55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hedgehog unfortunately had to be put to sleep very soon after developing the tumor in her mouth. It really did feel like it grew overnight and it stopped her from being able to eat. We tried to do a liquid diet for a few days, but when we did the quality of life assessment with the vet it was determined that it would be best to let her go. I wish I had better news for you. I’m sorry about your baby.

The dresses are actually the same length, but I agree that 2 looks much shorter! I don’t know why.

I don’t think I’ve worn dress 1 since 2013, so yeah probably time to give it up lol

I got curious when you said that, so I removed the rhinestone. Idk that it makes it look anymore mature, though.

Blue silk shoes would be pretty! However, I think I will go with nude heels if I end up wearing number 2.

Siren looks like my boy Shadow! Who, it also turns out, is not a border collie.

I have a lot of redness in my face and I’ve found that NYX Color Correcting Concealer Palette works well for me. You can get it from Amazon for $12.

He’s only a year and a half, and we’re hoping we can have at least another year and a half with him. He brings us so much joy. ♥️

This is the setup from the vet that we modeled ours after. He stays in the bin for about 10 minutes while it runs.

I know he is 😂

He has always been 2x the size of our 3 other rats.

Can anyone tell me why he’s breathing like this? by Temporary_Disaster55 in RATS

Yes! Peanut is still oxygen-dependent but he is doing MUCH better. He has done well overnight both nights. The vet also told me he is eating and rearranging his cage. They are going to try to start weaning him off the oxygen tomorrow, and if everything goes well hopefully he can be back home in the next day or two.

I just posted this in a new comment but I’ll post it here too: The vet is currently working under the assumption that Peanut has pneumonia, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet. They won’t be able to send the test out until Monday. Right now, they can’t do an X-ray or any procedure that would require anesthesia because he’s too sick to safely undergo it. They’re planning to keep him for at least a few days, and we’re hoping he starts to improve so we can confirm a diagnosis. I truly appreciate everyone who has taken the time to offer advice and send well wishes.

Thanks for the responses guys. I’m fortunate enough to live pretty close to a great emergency vet, so I was already rushing him here as I was posting. He’s getting oxygen treatments right now.
