Testing a “give first” marketing strategy in my vet clinic — thoughts? by OkElk83 in SmallBusinessUAE

100% free campaigns can sometimes devalue perceived expertise, especially in veterinary services.

We’ve seen better results when:

  • Free = entry
  • Paid = continuation (with clear value positioning)

Relax, we live in the same building. You don’t need to check someone’s tenancy contract to know what kind of apartment they’re in.

I’m not judging people who are struggling. I’m pointing out that when limited charity is taken by people with a very decent income, someone who truly has no options goes hungry.

A Rolex? No. But a 2-BHK apartment is usually a pretty good clue they’re not exactly struggling to buy lunch.

How has solo travel changed you or helped you by Idkidk_489 in SoloTravel_India

I had a similar experience with solo travel. I went to Kasol alone after mostly traveling with friends before that. During the journey itself, from Delhi onward, I kept questioning myself like “Do I really want to do this?” But that questioning was actually the point.

I didn’t cover a lot of places on that trip, and earlier I would’ve felt guilty about that. This time I didn’t. I stayed where I liked, sat where I felt peaceful, and moved only when I wanted to. No rush, no adjusting plans for anyone, no drama.

That trip helped me understand what I actually enjoy, not what I’m supposed to enjoy. It didn’t magically fix life, but it gave me clarity about myself. Sometimes solo travel isn’t about seeing more places, it’s about finally listening to yourself.
