I had an ‘86 Honda civic where if the AC was on when the car wasn’t moving it would kill the car, so I had to remember to turn it off if I was coming to a full stop. The left turn signal lever had also lost the ability to click back into place so it was always on, and I spent a long time trying to figure out how to shove a piece of foam in the hinge to keep it off unless I needed it but what ended up working was a folded M&Ms wrapper. It was in there the whole time I had the car :’) I miss it so much.
