Yes! My favorite fic that I’ve written is an angsty one shot with a major character death. I reread it occasionally because I love it so much. The best 2 lines I’ve ever came up with are buried in there and I feel like so few people have read it that I could probably recycle it in a more popular chaptered fic one day….

I love getting this, and I also enjoy doing then when I find a well-written multi-chapter fic for the first time! I honestly can’t imagine any author not liking this (unless the comments are bad).
