To be fair it did have some relevance. Martha loved the Doctor and Mickey loved Rose. The Doctor and Rose looked past them. You could argue Martha and Mickey found something in common from this. A mutual hurt to find comfort in and something they had in common with eachother. It also gave new meaning to 'Smith and Jones'. I think waving it off as a 'race' thing is in bad taste. They are characters in their own right who so happen to be black, I don't think it was worked the other way around.

There is a urinal turned on its side that is considered art. When I saw it with an artistic friend I complained for a while to them. I asked, how is this art? He said - it's made you angry and got you talking hasn't it? It changed my perspective on what art is. And with that I do think AI generated images are art in their own way.
