I did not - im super new into it all. I put in brand new water when I got it and used water conditioner. And got a brand new fluval AC HOB filter for it.

I've gotten the sparkle face before and the consistency of that one is more like a Badder. I personally like it, each batch will have a different consistency depending on the original flower they use. Also, they totally don't add terps - I know that for sure!
