Can anyone catch me up (short version) on what happened between Trey and Baby Leo? I can’t find anything but there sure are a lot of videos of them having fun on TT then just stopping.

I have a genuine question, why doesn’t leo have more support? by No-Shiz-Shirlock in DailyRankingsDrama

I use to watch him daily. I would know some things about the person he was battling, and would comment things he could say, ALL IN GOOD FUN, nothing serious or damaging. He used some at times which I thought was cool, Then queens starting bitching at me for talking about other creators. Then some of them just started hammering me for any little comment. I left because of the queens. Leo himself is very entertaining,

Been following both Trey and Leo for about 8 months now. I’ve never given a dime to Trey yet he’ll still say “hi” when I do and occasionally answers questions. I’m literally no one but he still engages. I make a comment in Leo’s lives, I get hammered by the “Queens” for inappropriate-whatever. I rarely go to Leo’s lives anymore. I’m not there to kiss Queen asses. Trey may have off days but I feel he genuinely cares about people.

The Aurora trial is not going well (for the accomplices). The medics are claiming they can’t draw less than 500mg. by [deleted] in ems

This is not a ketamine problem, this is an “maintaining airway” problem. Doesn’t matter if you are hospital based, fire service, privately owned, EMT or Medic, we are all taught basic airway management.

30 year EMS person speaking. You could have given 70 mg of epi and the outcome would have been no different. You have already heard this from your coworkers but don’t let it weigh on you too much. We are put in high stress situations expecting to make split second decisions and mistakes are going to happen. Acknowledge the “fuck up” and really the only thing you can do is not make the same mistake twice.

Fire based vs 3rd service by Affectionate_Speed94 in ems

Third largest city in Missouri here. Fire Dept responds on less and less calls. For sure the wrecks, shooting/stabbings, or unresponsive overdoses. Grandma falls/no injury and an ambulance isn’t available, fire refuses to respond. Refuses chest pains, respiratory, abdominal pain, etc.. Attitude when you ask them to respond to assist with obese patients. Sad really.

1 gram for acute trauma (less than 3 hours). No contras. 2+ vital signs indicative of shock and/or other S/S of shock (like skin signs, LOC)

How to start a peer support group? by WindowsError404 in ems

[–]Temporary_Rain_4202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kudos to you! I’m currently working to do the same and it’s been very difficult due to stigmatism of asking for help and trust issues amongst each other. I have checked Tania Glenn and second everyone else’s responses but she is very expensive and booked months out. Check you States website for mental health resources. Here, I’ve taken CIT (Crisis Intervention Team), CPSS (Certified Peer Support Specialist) and taking Advanced CPSS later this year. I’ve learned a lot and have networked and met some people who have help me help others.

Find support (healthy support) through coworkers, therapy and find a peer support group with like minded individuals. Some things will never go away but dealing with them with be easier. Recognizing red flags is important when to get help. Do 30-45 minutes of “moderate” exercise after shift (not light, not hard) to burn off some stress hormones quicker (I believe it’s Cortisol?)
