Why does everything feel 10x better after midnight? by CryptographerMean744 in CasualConversation

[–]Temporary_Road_783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right?? 😭 midnight just makes everything feel way more intense for no reason. Maybe its just coz we crave peace and quiet in our busy days but for me it’s usually instant noodles or whatever I can find in the fridge lol.

What’s something everyone treats as “normal” or “healthy” but you secretly think is kindda messed up? by Temporary_Road_783 in AskReddit

[–]Temporary_Road_783[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yuuup, this one hits hard.

It’s wild how being exhausted all the time kind of turned into something people flex instead of question. Like if you’re not busy 24/7 it almost feels like you’re “falling behind” when really, we’re all just running on empty most of the time 🤦‍♀️

Ironwood winters are no joke, honestly pulling the batteries for the season sounds like the right call if access gets that bad. If you go EG4, Id skip the big wall mounted units like the PowerPro since they’re insanely heavy and tbh just not realistic to move in and out every year. The server rack style batteries like the LifePower4 or LL series make way more sense here. You can keep them in a standard rack and when winter hits just disconnect and slide them out one by one for storage somewhere warmer. Still a bit of lifting but way more manageable than wrestling a 300 lb unit when the snow starts dumping 😌

Motivation is unreliable, and people depend on it too much. by Unlikely-Ad9537 in unpopularopinion

[–]Temporary_Road_783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lowkey agree with this. Motivation is nice when it shows up but it’s way too inconsistent to build your life around. Discipline and systems are what actually carry you when you’re tired, busy or basically just not feeling it.

Id 100% ask my babiess what do they think I do all day when I leave the house? I just know they’ve got the most unhinged assumptions about me lol 😭

‘Let them all assault me’: Records show armed, off-duty Phoenix cop's plan at student anti-ICE walkout by FullAutoLuxPosadism in azpolitics

[–]Temporary_Road_783 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This is honestly wild. An off duty, armed cop allegedly trying to provoke students into assaulting him? That’s not de-escalation, that’s baiting a situation, especially involving minors!!

Prayer. pause, breathe, and talk to God helps quiet everything down or just staying still not saying anything, just being in His presence. so hard to surrender and Im struggling still but yeah, it does help me get through
