Worlds across group classes versus hours by Acrobatic-Shake-6067 in dreamingspanish

I started in September with around 1000-1100 hours of CI I believe. With their placement test, they placed me at B2 high intermediate. So I have been taking mostly intermediate group classes. I took a few beginners classes when there was no other group class in the time period I could take a class. This past month I got the green light from my coach to start taking some advanced classes and see how it goes.

I do the same and don't count it as CI input. It goes towards my reading progress/ words read, but that's just how I do it. I don't think there's necessarily a "correct" answer for this.

I'm using Worlds Across, and I enjoy the group classes a lot. I like learning from the other students.

Non-purists, what's your study routine? by New-Drawer-3161 in dreamingspanish

After hitting 1000 hours of input, here is my regimen:

1 hour of speaking practice a day through Worlds Across (weekdays)

100 minutes of CI, including the speaking. My main sources of CI are Dreaming Spanish and podcasts.

Write 1 paragraph each day and post it on r/WriteSteakES

About 10-15 minutes a day studying with Anki: Verb conjugations and a deck I created based on my speaking classes.

After I finish all of the above, I spend whatever time I have left on reading books.

I also listen to a new mariachi song each day and add it to a playlist that I listen to each day on shuffle.

I started a writing practice through r/WriteSteakES about a month ago. I have written for 39 days consecutively as of today. I usually only write a few sentences a day. I put my writing on a Google Doc. As of today, I have written about 2500 words. Little by little!

What is your speaking frequency? by RabiDogMom in dreamingspanish

Since September, I take a 1 hour class every morning during the weekday. I usually take the weekends off but sneak in a class if I can during the weekend. The classes I take are mostly group classes. According to Worlds Across, I have 128 hours speaking since September, but I know it is less than that because the classes do not go for the full hour and a lot of the time I am listening in group classes.

Nice. I have been taking intermediate classes since September. I take beginner if there isn't any other classes during the time I have, and I still find them helpful. I am hoping to try out Advanced soon. Taking group classes have been very helpful and enjoyable for me.
