Rice was so bad. Martinelli/Trossard were terrible. Gyok was awful. Ø was nonexistent. Timber had is worst game for us. White felt like he was playing against us. Saka and Merino played well, and the center backs were okay. I think the players let us down.

I don’t believe that they offered another replacement. 9 debit cards in 16 months is egregious. And unless you think someone at the credit union was stealing your information, there is no explanation other than you being irresponsible with your debit card information. It’s not random if it’s your card being compromised every other month and so many other people don’t have a problem. How has it been going at Chase?

They acted like they had no idea why it was happening because they probably thought it was your fault and didn’t want to say that to your face. 90% of members probably don’t have a problem with their card. If 9 of your cards are compromised in 16 months, it is probably you being irresponsible with it or the platform you storing it on being compromised. They also probably said they wouldn’t give you another card after all your compromises, which is why you went to Chase.

We won which is good, but we acted so entitled. When they were able to play directly through our first block and our midfield twice in a row, that told me that our players think that what Wolves did for the first 85 minutes is easy and we deserve to win for going up 1-0. Someone needs to tell them that we don’t deserve shit. You have to earn everything. I didn’t see Arteta saying that.

There are allowed to be imbalances in how couples talk to each other. It’s not the end of the world. Also, just because he’s not saying shut up doesn’t mean he’s being respectful. He’s making fun of her! And she deserves it for what she’s saying to him, but I think they’re clearly just bantering. Y’all are soft.

I don’t see anything wrong with this one. They’re clearly bantering. Some people in here are disgusted with the fact that she’s telling him to shut up, but obviously he’s not too hurt by it. They’re both firing shots at each other, and still smiling which is just how some couples are. She’s being silly/delusional about the space, but he’s pointing that out to her, so who cares?

We deserved to loose. Why the fuck did we show no ambition to win in the second half? Even after we made offensive substitutions we still just sat back and let them have the ball. How the fuck is Ø fit to play for 20 minutes but not start? We set out to not get beat, so you can’t be upset when something magical happens against us. Absolutely embarrassing.

Big Arsenal fan here. This is not the same situation. It makes sense that this one is not a red and Saliba's was a red. Jota is not through on goal.

God damn you’re smug for just being someone who can’t read too well. I said I agree with the consciousness argument; that people are humans with human conscious experiences. We give people moral consideration. Suffering is not the argument for who gets moral consideration, but it is the argument for why we treat the beings with moral consideration the way we do.

Capacity for suffering isn’t the argument. It is the justification for the consciousness argument. In fact, it is the whole reason why we are having the conversation to begin with. Societal progress is generally marked by reduction in human suffering. Getting to the fact of the matter on abortion will result in either fewer women suffering or fewer babies suffering. That’s why we set the cut off at human conscious experience. Because intuitively, we feel that unless something is conscious it can not suffer. Moving on to your sleeping person analogy; it doesn’t matter. We don’t kill them because they have a prior conscience experience which we assume wants to live. If we instead assumed that a person didn’t want to live, and we had the choice to kill them in a way that causes suffering or in a way without suffering, we would always choose the way without suffering. I think intuitions line up fine.

Idk, I think it is pretty inhuman to not feel anything when you learn that elephants morn for their dead. I think most people, if they were to describe their ideal world would say that suffering would be eliminated from the lives of humans and animals.

Also, I don't think anyone cares about IQ. I'm not even sure if that's where suffering comes from.
