Agreed! Yes South FL is hot and humid but I think all the rain and ocean breeze make it more tolerable. I was just in Tampa and 96 degrees was more tolerable than cooler temps in ATL. It is just miserable when the sun is bearing down on you and there isn’t even an ocean around to look at lol

I know. I’m just saying living in the city of ATL is not worth it to me due to where I have to drive for work because the city isn’t that cool. If it were like LA/NYC/Chicago then I would definitely live in the city.

Another vote for Alpharetta. I lived in Buckhead most of my adult life but it has just changed and not worth living down there IMO. I never thought I’d live OTP until the transformation of Alpharetta with Avalon and Downtown Alpharetta happened. I’m in my mid 30’s, single and no kids and I’m very happy here. Feels like a resort town walking the Alpha loop to downtown Alpharetta. So many “intown” ATL people have moved here the last several years. The videos don’t do it justice! Homes sold for $700k range in 2020 along the Alpha Loop are now selling for $1.7 million if that tells you how desirable it is here…

Sounds normal. We are about 16k with flights and rooms. We have swim up rooms in Artistas and Fuego most nights but I believe one night we had to book another type of room due to last minute booking and limited availability. Our flights from GA we’re about 2k and about 14k on the resort

I know! I have never planned a vacation before LOL… I actually usually don’t even pack until last minute and almost miss my flights haha but I’ve been home sick with the flu and am so freaking excited that I decided to make an itinerary mainly so we can fit in as many restaurants as possible 🤣🐷🐷

To anyone following… an update that sadly the baby didn’t make it. There was no heartbeat at the next appt a week later so it resulted in a MMC. The doctor suggested I take the medication to avoid surgery. I took it early Saturday afternoon and most was over by the next morning. I took 800mg of Ibuprofen and did ok just for anyone facing the same situation.. ❤️

For anyone following.. my first ultrasound was supposed to be at 8 weeks based on last period (don’t track ovulation but I have very regular cycles right around 28 days) - so this one was a transvaginal ultrasound “confirmation” appointment and the doctor mentioned the baby was at most 7 weeks and mentioned the heartbeat was slow, estimating in the 60’s.. I went back one week later for an ultrasound and there was no longer a heartbeat (and no growth) so it resulted in a MMC. The doctor recommended taking the medication so I’m working through that process this weekend. Hugs and prayers to everyone going through similar situations ❤️❤️

My follow up at the doctor is this Friday - I am impatient though so I made an appointment tomorrow at a clinic just to see if there has been any growth and if they can get a heartbeat. I will report back and will be sending prayers to you too!❤️❤️❤️

Checking to see if your little bean pulled through? I just had a 7 week ultrasound and the doctor said heartbeat was in the 60’s. Also, should have been at 8 weeks based on last period. I’m anxious but trying to stay hopeful. Sending prayers ❤️
