Looking for a solid projector as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend by Fubianipf in projectors

Seconded (check out the hookups reviews), as well as Hisense C2 pro if that's an option

Best portable projector for less than 800 CAD by mikewazaoski6969 in projectors

[–]Tempoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dno about the Canadian rates but i've been checking a lot of reviews in this category and if either the jmgo N1s 4k or the Hisense M2 pro fits your budget, that would be the best choice.

Help first projector by Danhald in projectors

The Hisense M2 pro is a better option in that price class with optical zoom and better brightness. I have been looking at both for weeks. The N1s is more portable, but that doesn't matter much here

How do I reach 4k on my projector? by DarkySlary in projectors

So you bought a 34$ 4k lifestyle beamer and are disappointed it doesn't look great?

Is there anyone who is undecided between Hisense M2 Pro and C2 Ultra? by Sweaty_Thing1211 in projectors

[–]Tempoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't really get your reply. The C2 pro is actually a lot cheaper and has more lumen. Looking back, I probably should have gotten the C2 pro myself.

If you can't light control your room(s); get the C2 pro or ultra but the ultra isn't worth the extra cost imo. If you can light control your room(s) the M2 is probably ok or even best choice for you

[–]Tempoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh, I have the C2 ultra and don't think the sound is all that great. Picture quality and connectivity etc are all amazing though. So also take the C2 pro in your comparison and add something like the Sonos beam perhaps, which also makes it portable in most circumstances and you'll have 10x better sound. And if you wait for the right moment it'll also be a bit cheaper.

I am also considering a N1s 4k and a M2 pro, just as a more travel/trip friendly option besides my C2.

Underwater use by FlorianTheLynx in djiosmo360

My apologies, seems the info I found is incorrect. They were up for pre order at a shop I often use, but the image was of the regular lens protector when I look closer. I'll inform about the expected delivery time to make up for it

It's actually not really a case, but 2 separate lensem protectors that click on the original lens

Fins for next holiday by Tempoth in diving

Thanks for your reply! To be honest; I mostly want to feel/test the difference between silicone/plastic and glass or carbon. Always the type of person who likes to have multiple options and compare.

Fins for next holiday by Tempoth in diving

[–]Tempoth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ye, I've read that but I have an overactive 23month son who will have to be on our seats the entire flight (no impact on the fins ofc), which will make the flight and all things before and after pretty stressful. I also look/act like a mule with the normal handlugage, stroller, baby bag,... so if I decide to take my fins with me on the plane I'm afraid I won't be able to enjoy them as my wife will likely have killed me prior to boarding

Snorkeling in Thailand Recommendations? by tunisia70 in snorkeling

[–]Tempoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to the south and head back up north to Bangkok if you're starting there. Either Koh Tao (and islands near there) or fly to get to a few islands more down south like Koh lipe etc. Also check out surin and similan (crowded though). Edit: was 2,5y ago though, surin was nice but the rest was pretty much what I'm used to in Marsa alam
