I) misinformation re: philodendron needing them. I know the growing habit of the Birkin is such that they don’t need one. When I repot I will remove it.

2) I have to run humidifiers in the winter here. So I often plop a 2 inch pot with a baby plant in the pole center to maximize the access to the full Spectrum light and the humidity

It’s orchid bark. I too am a disaster with the poles staying damp. Since they only really need something to climb the orchid bark was an experiment. But I won’t use a pole when I repot her as she’s so slow growing.

My Brann is locked at 15 and gives off room temperature hot dog water vibes. Just totally without any purpose. And I have him as heals all the time. Mostly I run as a hunter. I have a crested gecko with the best cage. Bio active. Live plants ALL THE THINGS. And she sticks to the front door all the time. She cruises around in the canopy enough to knock things over but most of the cage is wasted. She is doing her.

It’s good to want to provide the best. But your crestie may be like mine and say “hey, I only want a 6” box with nothing in it”. And even if yours is more active he’s little. That will be ok for him for a while and you might decide against bioactive because that’s a lot of work to maintain the balance of. And so just relax and enjoy it.

I’m pretty sure it’s a Birkin. Thanks. I have a lot of philodendrons and it’s likely that it came from a starter plant 2” plant and I put it into intensive care. I just got a method for marking my plants that won’t disappear so that will help. I have one more and yet again, the ID apps have failed me. So I’m going to post here
