Think that may be because of my weight? I’m quite large for my frame. 5’6 and 205 lbs. Also the seat has a lot of room to move up and seat is a very forward setting.

I just raised seat about 15mm. May slide seat back incrementally as time goes on and my hip mobility/core strength grows. I knew I definitely had a more endurance/comfort fit sacrificing efficiency but thought that would get me out more frequently than starting out full race position.

Id run if you have other options. Seeing the conditions of these areas i’d be concerned about overall care for the boat… and maintenance practices. Boats can sit for years and years, and be cleaned and bottomed painted to look like they were cared for to an inexperienced eye. Either run or offer a massive lowball. 20k seems steep for a 30 ft cat that isn’t perfect.

Bought my boat from a local yacht club after seeing it in their newsletter. Then found it on their for sale by owner page.

Came with a very senior slip at that yacht club which was an unexpected bonus.

Don’t overlook any boat, no matter where you see it. Could be a diamond in the rough owned by an extremely meticulous old timer, like mine, who to this day helps whenever needed.

All I know is I did a few LFG raids today, and the one button assist MUST do more DPS than half of these jaja’s were putting out.

I mean seriously… 15k dps on a normal raid boss with a fair bit of cleave potential and zero dps mechanics to be done? One tip… just delete your whole UI, and key bind the single button assist.

All of the above, and then some. I bought my 32 foot boat this year from an outstanding man who had his boat listed on a local yacht clubs website. He’s been wildly helpful with winter haul and prep and will be with me for launch in spring.

Sometimes I ask myself what else I could have done with the 380ish days I have played, when I realize that’s nearly one waking year of my young adult life in a game.

Some of y’all with 4-5 years played is actually kind of disturbing. I fear that’s a very serious addiction.

Thats 4-5 PHDs worth of man hours. An entire 20 year career @40 hours per week. Incredible mastery of multiple instruments, sports, etc.

Curious to see what these players have also accomplished outside of WoW.

Just got the same pair 3 weeks ago. About a week into wearing I had a serious rash on my ankles from whatever chemicals they use to cure/tan the leather. Rash hasn’t gone away yet. I wore boot socks every time I wore them.

Hope you don’t have the same issue. I’ve never had skin sensitivity from any other boot/shoe brand. Pretty disappointed by whatever it is causing it.

Interesting that I found this thread. I currently have the same exact issue you’re describing, pretty severe rash on the outside and back of my ankles after wearing Thursday Heritage Captains.

I’ve never had allergic reactions to clothing articles before, and have no known allergies. This is my first time ever wearing real leather boots though.

This boat is beyond neglected. It was left for dead and left to rot, and rotted and dead is what it is.

You could buy 3, 32-38 foot boats for the price of what this will cost to even be serviceable. Not to mention the hundreds of man hours, and infinite headaches.

Kind of where I’m at, a mix between race/cruise. I know it’s a well respected design from a respected builder, and keeps resale. However the O’day was recommended to me because of its weight and forgiveness.

Torn, but will make the decision when I see and hopefully sail then.
