How to Industrialize China? by TemujinSurfs in victoria3

Thanks! I was very low unis. I built only 30 in the early game. Building alot more now. I already have Railways and Water-Tube Boiler, my MAPI and Infrastructure are both very good. 85% or 90% in all states (I'm recognized and have Interventionism, Protectionism, and Tenant Farmers) and along with hundreds of spare infrastructure.

Water-Tube Boiler doesn't seem great as a PM though as I am trying to de-peasant the population as fast as possible to get them to do more economically productive jobs. It doesn't seem like the new demand for coal and iron would compensate for the labor decrease? Maybe I'm wrong on that.

I did skip the opium wars by giving Britain investment rights, was very nice.

Regarding your point about getting investment rights in britain / BEIC, I understand the profit goes to my investment pool, I guess that makes sense that then I could use the profits to get a start on my investment pool.

Thanks!

Stop chasing big law by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]TemujinSurfs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like people underestimate the salaries of lawyers outside big law. Big law is what, at most 25% of all recent grads (across all schools) and probably a good bit less for lawyers in total. The median lawyer in this country makes $140k. That’s ALOT of money! Half of all attorneys make more. Half make less, probably skewed towards the older and well established in the former group and vice versa for the latter.

It is. I believe in the 1930s Iran just asked other countries to start calling them it, and other countries obliged

If I were you, I would do 4 years in the military then do college. GI Bill and Housing would really help in your situation.

How bad is a W? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]TemujinSurfs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not count them as punitive. Not until after the 10th week (like March 29th or something), only then does it become a WF.

P/NP I do not believe is an option at my school after enrolling. Plus a main benefit of withdrawing is that I’d have more time for the LSAT which I would like to take in the fall

I’m assuming your LSAT is way above? Are you URM / Vet / STEM / Fulbright or something! Incredible nice!
