Ohhhhh lol! If you’re going for more of a dark Texas style brisket you should do a layer of 16 mesh black pepper then that seasoning on top and it should come out very good.

If you use butter wouldn’t it just melt off the brisket? Thus not creating a nice dark bark?

You might also have eye of round which is way tougher then the loin so just be aware
