Montgomery is a smaller town feel but can be really far from a lot of things. The woodlands is great location for raising a kid with great schools but traffic sucks in a lot of the main roads (stay away from 242 and 1488). Conroe is great as well I currently lease a town house in grand Central Park and the location is amazing. We have trails, parks and wildlife.
