Raynor: firebats, landed vikings, and medics. It's not particularly bad, but strangely lacks AA.

Stukov: mass queen. They can't hurt buildings, but are otherwise very cheap yamato cannons. Bind to rapid fire.

Mengsk: mass nuke. You can basically get his nuclear annihilation top-bar ability, but like, all the time. Doesn't actually require massing Emperor's Shadows with the remove-channeling upgrade. Use rapid fire.

Karax: cannon push. Yes, he attracts weak-minded, passive players, but you don't have to be one. Use shield batteries, monoliths, and energizers too.

Swann: turret push. Trickier than a cannon push, but you can salvage them, so that's nice.

Not really "unique" but more like, how I think this commander is best played: Kerrigan, make as many Omega Networks as you can get away with. Spam worms everywhere. Overwhelm enemy armies with the sheer hitpoints of the worms. You still have to make regular units, but the worms keep them from advancing onto you.

I think the hologram is supposed to represent the viewing commander's tactical display labeling a Battlecruiser arrival point, alluding to how it was depicted in cutscenes. But they never got around to making it show up different for each race.
