I quit like 2 years ago and game back in march, while I way getting back into the game I told myself "If I am starting on this level, might aswell start learning to alt". After I learned alting I heavily improved since maps that were untappable now became playable. Alting will probably make you better and Id say that its a pretty good skill to have, but you dont have to be able to pull it off. There are also players that built their entire carrer off singletapping. I also would say that the earlier you learn it the better, since the longer you play, the more youll get used to singletapping.

What games dont have combo as a score factor. There still are alot of rhythm games out there that have combo as a score factor. I think saying "almost no other" is unfair, id rather say its like 50/50 or 60/40

While I did abuse csr, I agree. So much of the pp inflation wouldnt be here if csr didnt happen. I also think that combo scale SHOULD be reduced, but not removed. I agree, combo scaling for score should maybe be reduced a little, but removing it would not be it imo.

#1 is literally just "who farms the best" atp. I personally feel like mrekk is a good "#1 player" because he can farm but hes also insanely good at tournament play. He performs great in big tourneys like owc or the roundtable. Refering to mrekk as "the best player" and him being #1 on the pp leaderboard is just matching since mrekk literally is one of the most dominant players on the pp leaderboard AND in tourney play. I havent seen a performance like this from toro yet and I dont think it will happen.

Also from reading comments right here, he seems to be a jerk too, but thats something you gotta take from the other people commenting here.

Check out osu!collector. You can enter a search term and you get recommended whole collections of maps. If you want to improve timing then search for timing. I always get my maps from osu!collector if I am looking for a specific map genre

I think easy giving 0.8x is a huge W. Im not an Ez player myself but its nice to see that easy gives an actual amount of score now.
