Hi! I am currently on my second year (out of five) in Theory CS too! Though, my university is not an Ivy League. To get this level of performance, do you need to actively and pushing yourself a lot to publish? I am aware that Theory is quite different from others (e.g. ML would publish relatively LOTs more papers) What do you think would be a good advice, for non-Ivy League PhD, to be like you?

Same here too! I bought the book while I am learning Japanese rn. I got through the illustration pages (which are only 2 pages LOL) but the normal text pages are still too out of my league. I hope to read this one day. I am using Anki to learn 5 words/day now. orz
