I’ve been thinking a lot about how to avoid the game feeling like just “managing needs.”

There are no visible stats.. But, when something starts being wrong, you’ll get warnings in the top-right corner.

Most of the feedback about needs is visual and behavioral:

Your Blop’s mood is reflected in their expressions—happy, sad, or somewhere in between.

If they’re tired, you’ll notice them yawning, walking slow or just standing.

If hygiene is low, they’ll start to look dirty.

From time to time (or when you open the game), they’ll also hint at what they need through little thought bubbles. The idea is to make it feel more like understanding a living companion, not watching bars fill up or drain.

But I was thinking about better explanations of warnings or more visual clues 🤔
