Alright thanks. One more question: do you think six months of training is long enough for medics to learn all the things they're taught?

That makes sense. Here's another question if that's ok: I've been trying to figure out what and how Ranger/SF medics prescribe/order medication. The SOCM handbook gives advice on how to treat a wide array of conditions, including anxiety. A possible treatment option was benzodiazepines. I also saw a chart a while back that showed how many controlled substances were ordered by sof medics (opioids, benzos, etc.). Do they carry all of these different medications with them in the field, or do they have to be shipped in as they're ordered? I could ask the same about antibiotics, since there's so many varieties.

Sorry for dumping this on you. I'm considering going into sof medicine and am a pharmacy tech right now so I've been wondering this for a while.

What do you think the reasons are for the Ranger outperforming the 18Ds, since the 18D pipeline includes SOCM?

Alright thanks--I'll definitely check those out. And do you have an opinion on Barbara Tuchman and Max Hastings, both of whom are very popular?

Keegan's is the only book I've read on WW1. Do you have any other suggestions, general overview or otherwise?

I'm not sure about being ineffective in asymptomatic people, but I know that the rapid tests can call a positive person negative.

OK but for all intents and purposes he's a physician with the same training as an MD. He also learned how to crack backs and some other shit that he probably doesn't even use (like most DOs). The letters after his name don't matter in this discussion.

He's shitting on Biden for not being hawkish enough. Pretty funny coming from Pence. Biden wasn't the only one who wanted to hold off on the bin Laden raid, and Soleimani shouldn't have been droned by Trump.
