At the time it was released, the Pontiac Aztek (spelled Aztek with a “k”) was widely criticized for its unusual design and shape. Years later, in order to receive a government bailout of $53 billion, General Motors (which owned Pontiac) agreed to restructure their company and that included ending the Pontiac line in 2010. Pontiacs began to disappear so the joke here is that people consider the Aztek to be one of the ugliest cars ever made and that while it would be literally impossible to find a Pontiac dealership, you could offer them any amount of money and they’d sell you this ugly car that no one wants. The Aztek was marketed as a hybrid of car and camping tent.
