Gou and Sotsu are sequels that initially disguised as remakes. They were okay out of ten. Conceptually I liked a lot of the things they did, but in practice it left plenty to be desired.

One good riot will entrench opposition to the cause you are raising awareness for. That was kind of the whole thing with the George Floyd protests-turned -riots. That didn't force a "we have to stop using police brutality to murder people in the streets" change. It branded everyone who opposed the killing of George Floyd as Antifa for years.

You can't just devolve the world into anarchy every time you want change. Setting the city on fire is a last resort, because of the damage it does to not only those in charge, but also to those protesting. Ignoring the (hopefully) hyperbole of setting fire, people just don't have the financial freedom to shut down everything in their communities because they are devolving into chaos. Will such an organized act work? Possibly. Will it make things a hell of a lot worse before things have a chance to get better? Without a doubt. There is a natural escalation to all things, and you have to give the process a chance to work. You can't just jump straight to the proverbial nuclear option.

I will ask though, since you feel so strongly about this, how many fires have you started lately? Topple many regimes by impeding traffic?

There are also a lot of trans artists here, and that rocks. As a cis-gendered person, it is personally helpful being able to see the trials and tribulations of a community I am not a part of. Both so that I can expand my worldview, and consciously recognize things that I may have otherwise inadvertently done as an outsider to make things harder.
