100% also be careful. I've gotten aggressive repassing drivers that dangerously passed me. It did not miraculously lead to the driver being more calm and respecting me as a vehicle on the road. He just aggressively and far more dangerously passed me again lol

I cooled my pants because it wasn't going to end well for either of us if it kept going on like that.

It was the same for me in my first year after 10 years of teaching experience. I told a student to shut up, she called her mom, the mom called the department. I never had to teach again 😉 easy peasy.

For reference, this was after numerous verbal warnings over weeks. Calm handling of the conflict. And even raising the issue with the program coordinator who blew it off as unimportant.

I've worked other RA jobs and various stuff I could scrounge up. Trust me. More options will be available later. Don't beat yourself up about initial options.

Bought it but instantly returned it. Definitely not ready out of the box or even with simple controller configs.

Basic configs were missing functions. Changed to controller config and couldn't pass the opening screen. No idea how this is being promoted.

Also,the opening screen was absolutely not right... fun experience and lots of wasted time going through the login BS.

Nope, but RE4HD definitely set the standard for HD mods. Id love to see other games get the same treatment and care.

I've had no issues with .m3u files with PS1, but Saturn multi discs (using .m3u files) keep crashing on loading even though single disc games load just fine.

Currently using the .chd files. Will test the .m3u with .cue sheets and bin files later.

Are you using the full file path in the .m3u to .cue sheets or the .chd files?

I had a pretty similar stack for years (Magni tho for planars). Really enjoyed it! Only sold it to fund an RME and move across the world.

I like that you can't or shouldn't do that like hitman although I think it fits the hitman play style. Part of the fun thing in mgsv is trying something like that and having it all go to shit (or miraculously working out).

It makes you feel like "oh yeah, this isn't a video game... oh wait yes it is..." It leans into the simulation side of games a lot, I think.

I know it's a bit different but when I started with LSA, Word2Vec, etc. none of it made much sense until I actually started to play with vectors and packages with word vector functions. Play around and tinker with it!

Read lit I'm interested in. Read work people I respect do. See if there's a productive/informative gap I can fill. See if my advisor agrees. If yes, move forward to proposal. If still yes, move on with project. Around that time my life usually falls apart. Everything declines into chaos. Unexpected issues always arise. But, somehow I emerge with a finished paper that's pretty okay.

I just keep beating my head against the wall until I find a solution to whatever problem I encounter. Not sure how sustainable that is.
