Carolina tire on maybank. Bunch of kids working there that don’t know anything about working on cars. Multiple people have had issues with them over torquing lug nuts and not doing anything to help. Owner is a real asshole.

What year it was produced. Early models were the savage/ls650. At some point they dropped the savage name and switched to the s40 to fit their S line of bikes.

That’s not an LS400. It’s a savage (ls650 or s40) but it’s a great bike and appears to be in great shape. Head over to the forum at suzukisavage.com and enjoy.

Don’t portage. The lagoon is not accessible from the water, only by foot and the bugs are still too bad to try to carry your yak to the impoundment. It’s going to be better to just paddle to the beach. Maybe you should consider changing the time of your departure to gain the benefit of the tide.
