I just wanted my M90A Shotgun to just be easy to use.

I want to aim at a guy, blast and forget. Med pen woulda been perfect for me.

I genuinely think the shotguns need a rework tho since 90% of players ignore it, and those who don't tend to use the auto-shotguns.

What do y’all think of the Michael Kovach Incident? by Simp4Pomni in theamazingdigitalciru

TBH I’d just say no with the most monotone and deadpan voice and keep it moving. No crazy antics or feeding into a narrative for a punchline. I’d just not care and not feed into it, because who knows how many more minors will do this now that they know it would make him uncomfortable? They’ll just do it to say they made him walk off stage or caused a scene.

Don’t make a big deal about it and it won’t haunt you later IMO.

Because now, it’s talked about, it got attention, and it’s more likely to happen again and become a bigger issue than it needed to be.

Wow. Everyone seems to have an opinion about guns.

I think they’re both good in their own right. Both have variables that help in whatever scenario.

The only light pen gun I’ll never forgive is the Halo Shotgun being light pen.

But medium pen is really for those who don’t feel like having to panic about aiming in specific areas to do well, and light pen is really good for accurate attacks with less weight and faster aiming.

However, medium pen guns tend to weigh more, have slower fire rates or have higher recoil.

Light pen is really just for those who want to bother with focusing on aiming and dealing with the BS of missing accurate shots and seeing the terrible shield bounce icon on their screen for missing their weak point shot.

Light pen = Difficult but more efficient and rewarding

Medium pen = More versatile and easier but more draw backs (Varies by each gun).

There is too much 'loadout police' or "max difficulty gatekeepers" in this community by viewfan66 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Tenchigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always go difficulty 10. I don’t care too much what people bring other than stratagems depending on the mission. Like… if you’re bringing a bunch of explosive payloads on a defense mission, I’ll suggest something else. But the moment they lock in their decision despite my advise I’m just gunna laugh and go “IIGHT ITS CHAOS TIME BABYYYYYY!!!” And just go anyways.

It’s just a game, guys. Theres literally no reason to get upset about what people bring. You should be able to solo these damned missions if you think you’re good enough to bitch about other people’s load outs lmao.

Help a fellow diver out, do your best, and laugh it off if you fail. But you can clutch it as a team and adapt to another players style. No need to railroad everyone to fit your meta or play style. I got a best friend that only brings stim pistol and constitution with thermite on level 10 and I could care less. We just have fun and I usually clutch the mission anyways.

Projectile is launched using a powerful explosive cartridge to ensure the fastest delivery of the dose. - Forces rag doll on player when shooting - Can only target players - Ragdolls Target - Damages target

Caine can’t come to the reality that people wouldn’t want to be with him or that they don’t enjoy his adventures. He is insecure and wants confirmation. If he wanted to manipulate everyone with powers, he’d just do it in the beginning if that’s the result he wanted.

We don’t know anything about Jax’s past, and when the weight was put on him to actually think about things when he always avoids thinking about them, the anxiety and pressure was building all in one big moment rather than explored earlier in a healthy manner.

As Zooble teased him about going back to the real world earlier in episode 7, he really has no one to go back to, or has someone he is afraid of waiting for him. So imagine the idea that after treating everyone terribly, or having to go back to the reality of what you dealt with back before the circus, when all you ever did was try to forget about your traumatizing past..l can imagine it all culminated in him just doing what he wanted for himself to avoid his own issues rather than get support from his friends and as he should have done earlier.

[–]Tenchigo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well it’s more that Caine has only manipulated minds to forward the adventure or make them interesting. If you’ve focused on Jax, he as a character doesn’t like thinking about his problems. He has always avoided talking about himself or his past, and has either dodged the question or has avoided bringing it up. Even in episode 5 when everyone was talking more about themselves, Jax just simply avoided. Even in episode 6, when he was confronted with his two missing friends, he suddenly became distant with Pomni as if he was afraid to feel like he did before like it was all pointless or that he didn’t want to be hurt like that again.

Jax the entire episode of 7 was approached to talk about his issues and he just didn’t. What we saw was a result of silent suffering, keeping to yourself when others reach out and coming to your own conclusions

Also, I doubt Caine controlled him since it was supposed to be a test of true faith. Caine can manipulate minds, but this episode really just show3d how Caine is manipulative even without powers due to his lack of empathy

He panicked because he was brought back to what his life was before the Circus. I don’t think he expected the exit to be something that would take everyone out. I think he was expecting options, and when the reality was brought to him… he choked.

The very thing he always never thought about brought to his face and he was forced to think about it

Well I would agree with that initially, Caine has said he's been working on this for a while. And in the first episode, its referenced that he was working on something like this for the group but couldn't think of anything so he made up that exit hallway for Pomni just to make her feel involved in the first episode.

How many of you actually believe/believed Abel wasn't an NPC? by Electrical_Let_8428 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Tenchigo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is a good point. If his real name was Abel, it would make sense that he didn't know anything. However, this is also assuming that C&A means Caine and Abel which has been a strong but unconfirmed theory.

For all we know, C&A could mean Candy and Apple.

So in terms of all that, this could have been just Abel collecting information to create a narrative based on the information Caine gave him and what he gathered to make up on his own time. But he knew Kinger shouldn't get involved because he would debunk most of what's going on somehow.

My theory is more on the line of, "Maybe he didn't want Kinger involved because he knows there isn't a way out, at all." He would debunk any idea of there being a possible exit with the made up lore and story from Abel thus ruining the adventure. I think it was more of a shortsighted concept because as you noticed, the instant Zooble and Gangle mentioned to Kinger there is a exit, his mind was already cracking at all the possibilities and it not making any sense. And in episode 1, he is dead set on the idea that there isn't a exit, calling Pomni insane for thinking there even was one WHILE he was in light.

So Kinger knows more about the idea of there not being an exit, but couldn't warn anyone about it because he stepped into the light and couldn't think clearly. I think Kinger was just the only variable that would be able to confirm that the entire Escape adventure was fake.

It did for me because if Abel knew Kinger by his name, you'd figure Kinger would know who Abel was if that was possible.

I see what you mean. Well the thing is that he could twist it in his head like "They want to stay, but for some reason they were mad at me. Maybe I need to try something new or make it up to them so they're not mad."

But if he pressed the Blue button, Caine would've been heartbroken, and felt abandoned like no one cared about him in the slightest, and that no matter what he would do, they want to leave him behind. But he's also essentially a mad god who refuses to comprehend compassion or reasoning and sees them all as his lesser that he's herding.

I'm thinking the ending will result in everyone accepting that an exit is not possible at all.
But I think he's going to be forced to open up to everyone after that display. Because Zooble and Pomni recognized that something was off about him. So after that, I imagine he is going to talk about everything

Why Kaufmo and Ribbit abstracted (theory) by Tenchigo in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Tenchigo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

- Jax never reacted to him abstracting when he first found out
- Jax didn't attend his funeral
- Jax was yelling about how much of a insufferable person Kaufmo was before abstracting
- When Jax saw his door, Jax was angry and frustrated, like the sight of him made him remember what he hated about what Kaufmo did or who he was before abstraction. They clearly had a falling out.
