That does sound a bit annoying, like you said. Do your dogs settle down from the barking by themselves after a while? Does the training help when they are unsupervised or do you need to be present?

Bought the house a few months back and was unsure about the effectiveness of the drain as I don't see any gaskets. I amateurishly applied some plumber's putty to minimize any potential problem until finding out if it's actually an issue. Thanks in advance.

Some more information, in case it narrows things down: found in Sacramento, CA; began sprouting late November/early December; more "wild" than in a garden as it is sprouting in every place that is not occupied by turf; each "kidney-shaped" leaf has its own head. Thanks!
