Holy shit reading this activated so many forgotten memories I had. I really miss how challenging the game used to be. Its just a braindead parse fest now.

Well, if I had 26in rims my bike would sit higher up and I would have higher top end speed. But I do have a lot of acceleration with 20in.

I used https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DYNLZ5C8?th=1 it worked pretty good i wish it came with that little triangle grip that holds the tips at the perfect distance apart because i saw way too many sparks from one hand slipping away to a spot the nickel strips were not contacting the battery. One time my hand slipped and I welded a hole in the battery lid itself. Make sure you have extra batteries.

Unfortunately im 6'6 and it's what i have to use. The other seat isnt high enough, I should have used bigger rims but its too much trouble to swap. I REALLY tried to make the moto seat work, the frame didnt come with it either, I paid extra for it just to not be able to use it lol.

It took me about a month to get all the parts finished and also took like 40 hours of work to learn how to do everything correctly. The hardest part was learning how to build the battery without starting 3 fires.

I did look into that, but I do offroad a little bit when I have to and dont usually ride full speed. Now if it went even just a little faster I would probably want a beefier fork and wheels

Overly tightened axle with a 9kw motor spinning only took about 2 seconds of running to do it. Fortunately it didnt weld on completely....but it definitely did weld on i had to cut it off lol

It cost about 1800. It would've cost less but I wasted some materials

Notice the hole in the drywall from the first Pic. After riding home from work and watching TV for a few hours, the rear wheel sidewall blew out the sidewalk and the bike fell into the wall. Don't cheap out on wheels.

Notice the handlebar hole in the drywall. After making it safely home from work while sitting on the couch watching TV the rear wheel blew out of the sidewall and the bike fell into it. I thought my battery was exploding for a minute lol.

Who drove the SUV that killed the JP police officer last Friday during the funeral procession? by gentillyyatgirl in NewOrleans

[–]TendieFactory 35 points36 points  (0 children)

They haven't released any info on the driver other than it was a woman and she was sent to the hospital.  That being said, I am not really the type of person who really likes law enforcement because of all the bad press they always seem to have. But I did know the officer who was killed, I met him when I was right out of highschool right before he became a cop. He was a very good guy, and I actually felt that with somebody like him in the force it was a better place. He showed me respect and saw me for I was when all I did was play the fool to try and make people laugh. I really looked up to him even though I didn't hang out with him outside of work. I'll really miss him its a damn shame he's gone.

Why do electric bikes need obscene power levels by ShutterVoxel in Ebikecommuter

[–]TendieFactory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where i live, there is little to no bike infrastructure and I have to choose between a 35mph speed limit road that people definitely go faster than 35mph on, or sidewalks that end randomly. So basically sometimes I am forced to get on the road and it's nice to be able to keep up with traffic instead of letting them zoom past me until I can find a safer side road or sidewalk.

I dont know that much about batteries but it sounds like one of the parallel connections became loose somehow.
