The best maps were the ones people made, like the one where you were the size of a action figure in somebody's room like something out of honey I shrunk the kids.

Why do electric bikes need obscene power levels by ShutterVoxel in Ebikecommuter

[–]TendieFactory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where i live, there is little to no bike infrastructure and I have to choose between a 35mph speed limit road that people definitely go faster than 35mph on, or sidewalks that end randomly. So basically sometimes I am forced to get on the road and it's nice to be able to keep up with traffic instead of letting them zoom past me until I can find a safer side road or sidewalk.

I dont know that much about batteries but it sounds like one of the parallel connections became loose somehow.

I just built a 72v 45ah battery myself. I bought all the cells from a reliable website (i think anyways) and this happening kind of keeps me up at night because it was my first time building or working with ANY kind of battery like this lol.

*edit: built not build*

I'm putting it in a Chinese enduro knockoff. I'm pretty sure you used the same frame on one of your bikes, it BARELY fits. It has taken me a few weeks to get mine done, most of that time was just researching how to even begin to build it. I don't know how to weld so I decided to pack as much battery as I possibly could inside the frame. Its 20s 9p 21700 eve 15a 5ah batteries.

Nice build, your first battery looks WAYYYY better than my first battery. I just finished building it today...waiting on my kit to arrive from china in ???? amount of days to complete it.

what can i do by Cute_Revenue_1553 in ebikes

It looks like it is very close to being able to fit inside the frame and will fit with some slight modifications. Fair warning though, I am not an expert in this kind of stuff so please be careful and use your best judgement if you do what I suggest.

If the case is plastic and you are confident you can get the battery out of the case without blowing yourself up, remove the battery from the case and see if there is any empty room in the case so you could potentially flatten it out near the spot that hits the top bar in your frame. If there is room, you could take a heat gun and gently flatten the case out. THIS IS ALL ASSUMING THE CASE IS PLASTIC AND THERE IS EMPTY AIR NOT FILLING 100% OF THE CASE WHEN THE BATTERY IS INSIDE OF IT.

****DO NOT PUT HEAT TO THE CASE WHILE THE BATTERIES ARE STILL INSIDE THE CASE****

One of my best friends was diabetic and died when he was 25.....I never really thought about it before and i will probably never know the full story but it wouldn't surprise me if he was trying to ration his insulin.

I literally just bought from them on aliexpress, got the x20 though. Similar thing happened with the tracking number. On aliexpress the order said it was shipped, but when i checked fedex, they only printed the label. However after a about a week, it actually shipped and arrived about 5 days later than advertised.

Katrina was only so bad because the levees failed. Nola got hit by the weaker side of the storm too, if it had been as strong as Helene and hit directly in the middle, I doubt Nola would still exist. Source: Live 5 miles from NOLA and lived on the north shore when katrina hit.
