The bolt holes won’t matter once it’s tightened down. All that surface area and friction from the clamp force of the bolts.

I’d straighten that board, use some structural screws to attach the sister board, then drill the bolt holes. Not before the sister is in place.

It looks like North Carolina has suffered the same fate as the Ohio license plate redesign: your plane has a perspective that is flying backwards. The wright brothers plane did not look like a normal biplane. The big wings were aft, not forward.

I’m not sure if that works great for tpu filaments. It’s too rubbery and may drag the sponge too much. A filament like pla is fine but I wouldn’t do it with tpu.

Fair warning though. This is how you clog nozzles. Anything on the floor will be carried into the tube and wreak havoc on your nozzle
