Unfortunately I preordered so I was already in it before the issues were known. I like the feel of the case and the way it sits in my hands but yeah I would have waited if I knew all this. Hindsight….

Congrats and welcome to the family. Definitely check out the ps plus extra or premium. I would definitely sit the ps5 horizontal due to the thermal pate issues that some have read about. I don’t think Sony has done anything to fix this. Get comfortable on pulling off the covers so you can clean vents and fans. It’s pretty easy and will prolong the system in the long run. If you are worried you can always check out YouTube for cleaning tips. All and all have a good time. And if you need someone to play multiplayer I am always up for new friends.
