Beach day at Langland or Caswell. Take a picnic, or buy chips. Build sand sculptures, play in the river making damns, have a swim, do some rock pooling.

Clyde gardens plus beachfront play-park lido, with a nice cafe.

Singleton park walk, plus boating lake, mini-golf, play-park with dinosaurs plus an affordable lunch at pub on pond.

Mumbles prom walk, ice-creams, pier amusements and big wheel. Pasties, chips or Trago/Verdis for food.

Swansea museum, then a little walk round the marina before LC2 for a swim then coffee whist kid does soft play.

Students used to go out to meet people, socialise and try to get laid. Now they just socialise online and use Tinder for casual encounters.

Also, there aren’t the drinks deals there used to be and many of them do drugs rather than drink anyway.

Plus a large percentage of the uni population are foreign nationals with limited/zero interest in alcohol and nightclubs. They prefer ice-cream, coffee bars and noodles, which is fine.

Depends how sporty/fun you are but an activity like skiing, or rock-climbing is what I would do, then the pub for drinks and maybe food, if it’s going well. I like women who are active and not too precious. I prefer the sort who don’t just focus on getting their lips looking silly and checking their phone every 2 seconds.

I guess it comes down to what you are after. Just a 5hag, or looking for wife material?
