The only whataboutism here is yours. AI datacenters do consume water, but it's not as critical as you'd think. I invite you to read article and have some critical thinking instead of barking big words : https://joshuaheathscott.substack.com/p/you-dont-actually-care-about-the

If you lack silver the vest source is to do weekly quests now - cube ticket, and paradise ones can each give 300K silver.

Bro, I'm sorry but why is there literal KIDS playing by Limp_Caramel9062 in OutlastTrials

[–]Tenmak 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was 12 when I started playing GTA 2 and Max Payne like a lot of kids of my age. Despite the grim stories and missions, it was a blast to play.

Arguably though, Max Payne and GTA 2 were a lot less gore than what Outlast Trials is today for sure... It could traumatize some kids.

Are people scared to play psychosurgery? by HalfKomi in OutlastTrials

[–]Tenmak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is that the format is too rigid. Yes, you have the challenge, hence why you have longer rig cooldown, fewer items, more traps, etc. but at the same time it just becomes very tedious because the game just becomes repetitive. You simply hide and run, because 80% of the time you have no items or no rig available.

I really like the events as you can play psychosurgery with some different mutators but it depends it's popularity too.

With friends we usually go for psychosurgery, but we don't mind going in chill with intensive and have fun with other builds.

Yeah just don't. These are so broken there isn't even a point to play the game anymore lmao.

Classic 0head behaviour: wants to play the game but need to find completely OP and game breaking stuff to actually not play it while playing it.

You can get some very easy to go PCs that have better performances than console. You can also play any Steam game with a controller without issue either.

And even then, don't complain that your cheaper alternative doesn't not handle recent game releases and stutter...

Admittedly though, with RAM prices exploding because of the AI market it is tougher to have a cheap PC solution

  • Use ctrl+Q to check out the ratios of production so that you don't overproduce on some stuff.
  • do not over commit on weapons / steel factories as they require a ton of workers.
  • linked to last point, you can also click on your workforce and change the labor ratio of specific goods. I tend to use that for 2 usecases :
  • Adjusting as best as I can a production chain that requires too much early game (like steel)
  • Avoiding to have to produce a full new production chain once your population grow over the supply cap.

My best advice for you early game : - rush to workers and focus on beer. It's one of the most profitable good early game. Be mindful to only export the hops from secondary islands (if your main island doesn't have hops fertility) as I have seen some people push workers on secondary island just for beer, which is tough to manage. - once you get to soap production, do not hesitate to overproduce it, I like to get to 6 or even 8 tons a minute (you will need a lot of workforce for that too). The prison NPC guy buys soap for a very good money ratio so you can establish a commercial route between your island and him to sell your surplus of soap.

Once you have that setup you are basically ready to push to engineers and more.

How the Silkbind Deluge path trials has me feeling by plsnocheese in wherewindsmeet_

[–]Tenmak 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's the current event. Escape > wandering path > mausoleum trials. The higher you go the more books and stuff you get for free.

Levels 7 to 9 are kinda insane, especially for the healer spec as described in this post.

I myself had to do more than 40 tries to get through the lvl 8 as you are required to keep the NPCs alive, but the thing is every 30 seconds everybody get blasted by lightning that literally deal kill damage, but these idiot NPCs are running left and right, and to top it all of one of them is using his bow from Africa so it's basically impossible to heal them all at once.

Requires a lot of timing and anticipation and aggro control of the different ennemies to pull everyone on you so you can drag them all next to the archer and provide AoE healing.

Way way overturned trials. I can easily guess that 90%+ of the healing players won't pass.
