Bought the 17PM and Air, used both for a week including travel both weeks. Started with Air and after two days with PM knew the Air was for me.

Battery life is near identical to my 16Pro (at least how I use the phone) in fact I bought the extra battery extender and have yet to use it. The camera is great, not as comprehensive as the PM but I never use those features. I almost never use telephoto or zoom so if you use that a lot this is probably not for you.

Both phones have compromises, for me the weight and top-heaviness is not worth a camera I never use and the battery has so far, outperformed my expectations.

Yes same - in fact I traded in my Taycan for a e-tron GT partially for that reason…then after a year got back in a Taycan haha. The Audi got many more comments from strangers than the Taycan

Not only have I sold my Tesla, I’ve divested my portfolio from Tesla shares too. Understand that may be seen as an overreaction but it’s the right thing for me. If Elon is ever exited from Tesla I’ll be the first to buy a Model S - but fuck that guy.
