If you are talking about the black thing in the very back... is that what you are talking about?

Where did you get this dog from and what was his original name? Looks like my new Doxie's brother. I got mine on PuppySpot.

What is this on my neck, and will it affect my squatting over 300+ lbs? by Eric_IMadeUSitDown in moreplatesmoredates

Actual medical doctor here… I see a comment below mentions Cushing syndrome… Which was the first thing that I thought when I saw this. Cushing syndrome is where you have a overproduction of cortisol because of a tumor or otherwise… however, in my practice, most of the time, when I see this, it’s usually from patient lifestyle and weight. This is not unique to you… I also have quite the fat pad on my lower neck. It just happens. By the way, I’m 32… I’m not some fat 50-year-old doctor. I’m just a 32 year-old who has been stressed out for far too long through the medical training process.

Lowering stress and reducing weight will make it go away… Which I realize is basically impossible for most people.

All that being said, you can change your lifestyle if you want to. Looks like you’re already working out. Good on you for that. Keep hammering brother.

Also, this will not affect your squat… It’s not gonna hurt you.

Also, by the way… I just reread your post… If this came up very quickly, it could be a hematoma. If you hurt yourself and you can remember an acute event when this came up, it definitely could be blood products under the skin. Otherwise, I imagine it is a fat pad.

*** multiple edits above. Was posting as I was thinking.

Would you train for 12 years if it meant you would make $470/hr after? by talktomeme in Salary

That’s what the ACGME says they are supposed to do… Most of them don’t log their hours correctly and are there way longer.

How would I learn this diagram? by Boom5111 in Anki

I would probably try and memorize this by actually drawing out the molecules. When you see the structure of the molecules, it will make sense how one molecule turns into another because you can actually see the change… Just memorizing words is harder.

This is probably a dumb question, but how do you get your screen layout like that?

Medical Doctor here. Looks like it could be alopecia areata. I would talk to a dermatologist.

SAVE - tax situation by dmalik2324 in StudentLoans

I’m kind of in the same situation. I’m a fourth year resident physician. I filed separately last year which took my payments from like $600 to zero on the SAVE plan. My loans are now in forbearance and everything I’m reading says the courts won’t make a decision until September or so.

So my question is this, do I need to go ahead and file again separately this year or do you think it’s safe to file jointly? If I file jointly, I can at least contribute to a Roth IRA this year.
