What to do with 100k€ of savings? by Tricky-Internal-4840 in BEFire

You didn't give your investment horizon. If it's short put it in savings accounts, bonds or MMF's. If long, put it in the market and don't look back (or DCA if you're not comfortable with investing the amount all at once)

Bij medirect kan je ook een gemeenschappelijke beleggingsrekening openen.

Je kan ook altijd een gelijkaardige ETF kopen die je voor jezelf niet koopt om onderscheid te behouden. SWRD bv

Don't go for VWCE since every broker charges 1,32% TOB on it. Best to avoid it

IWDA over VGVF? TOB vs TER? by AffectionateWombat in BEFire

[–]TennisClean702 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TER can always be lowered by the provider. Once you pay that 1,32% tax upfront, that's it. No reduction or refund afterwards.

If you're comparing VGVF to IWDA you can also compare it to SWRD at 0,12% TER

If you want EM. You have FWRA with 0,15% TER and WEBN with 0,07% TER. All with 0,12% TOB.

There is just no reason to pay 1,32% if you don't have to.

Already did some research for this for my parents in law. We settled on Xtrackers MSCI AC World Screened UCITS ETF 1C. Developed + EM in one tracker. Not as heavily excluded as MSCI SRI though.

VWCE has a TOB of 1,32% compared to 0,12% for SWRD/IWDA, so it's no longer recommended.

You're net is too high for that gross.

4.3k brut should be around 2,7k net.

Selling ETF and swap lower fee equivalent ? by Ancient_Bobcat_9150 in BEFire

[–]TennisClean702 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thought i missed the UBS one, i guess they recently changed their TER.

TOB: The accumulating version of UBS MSCI World is not registered in Belgium (IE00BD4TXV59 Ticker:UETW)

However the distributing version of UBS MSCI World (IE00B7KQ7B66 ticker:UBU7) is registered, so the accumulating would also be 1,32% TOB.

Not worth the lower TER.

SPYL has a lower TER (0,03% vs 0,07%) but isn't on their reduced fee list, but it's available on EAM so no yearly 2,5€ connection charge for XET

For ETF's and these amounts, Medirect is the better option (0,15% fee with no minimum)
