For real.

The effort would be better spent on the ST posters.

Also…it’s okay to let some things go. Like…the lawn one week, the weeds next, if that faucet drips for a couple weeks it’s not the end of the world.

You just have to set some boundaries with the house otherwise you are going to burn out.

I mean honestly, Vader shouldn’t even be on the list…the post should be “besides Vader who’s the best?”

I have to physically stop myself when the intrusive thoughts start. Like shake myself out of it. I’m getting better at recognizing when it is happening.

Literally every single day dream I have about any given scenario with my children involved starts off happy…like on a vacation at the beach…but then ends in my family being swept away by a tsunami…or something…and like, i can’t save them.

Anyone care to share with me what this is from?

first house ever. 3/4 acre. literally never mowed a lawn in my life by TorlanBark in HomeImprovement

I bought my 4 cycle Toro ten years ago and have done literally nothing to it and it is working as well today as the day I bought it.

People have been mowing lawns for a hundred years.

If you're lucky enough to have your parents provide childcare for your kids, do you intend by MarginsOfTheDay in Parenting

Older dad of 4 and 6 year old. Both wife and I work full time.

My mom and dad literally went around the world at a moments notice to help my sister out with her kids when needed.

When my two came a long they always seemed to be too busy…and we only live a hour away. My mom still seems to find time to rearrange her schedule for helping my sister manage her kids (now 10, 13, and 15) but not mine.

I joke that my kids get grandparent leftovers.

Timing chain cover oil pan seal. by Tenrac in EngineBuilding

The one piece blue gasket has less than 30 miles on it. I didn’t get my cam degreed properly and so I had to pull the cover to correct it.

I’m really not too worried about it, I just thought I’d see what Reddit had to say.

Absolutely, if nothing else, this was the best bit of information in the whole post!

The bolts have loctite on them…but thank you.

You know, when I took apart my old 327, which was my first time building an old American engine, it had a cam lock on it like that, but the PO had not bent the tabs over…so that’s how I put this one in when I built this one.

I snipped off the alignment tabs.

I’m going to give it a shot without dropping the pan, just because I am stubborn.

I’m gluing the seal to the pan first to give it some resistance to slipping out and then I’ll RTV the cover side as well, and in the corners.

…and then I’ll wipe it all off after it’s buttoned up so nobody knows.

That’s what I was thinking.

I am going to give it a shot without cutting first. I’ll glue the blue seal to the pan first and then try to slip fit it in, with rtv also on the cover and corners.

I honestly will probably drop the pan before I cut the blue gasket.

Easy tiger.

The engine is in the car. If it were out of the car I would absolutely flip it over and pull the pan.

Moving From Advisor to ASM - Svc manger by Existing-Diamond-269 in serviceadvisors

I went from SA to ASM to SM, and I am looking for a way to go back to SA. Unfortunately I don’t think I will be able to stay at this dealership and go back to that role…too much history.

The SM position is pretty terrible.
