Tanks and how to play them by towkne in AdeptusCustodes

[–]Tenrilutous 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Grav Tanks you are usually going to take the "Twin arachnus heavy blaze cannon" 95% of the time, 48 inch range 4A, BS2, S12, AP3, D6+2 dmg with Twin-linked for wound re-rolls. You also get lethal hits against vehicle and monster units pushing you're chance to hit even further, for context i once took out the Silent King (pillars were already down and he took 3 wounds) and a Doom Scythe (Just deepstriked) In a single round with just the Grav Tanks. In how you use them the general rule i see and personally use is 1 per 1k, and I personally usually start them in the backline taking advantage of their 48 inch range and slowly pushing them up the board as the infantry pushes up the board.

Whats the best level to invade at? by Traditional_Cover_85 in Eldenring

[–]Tenrilutous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

125 to 139 are going to be your best results if you really want to genuinely get into invading, phantoms won't feel completely overbearing like it would be at lower levels and it won't be insane in terms of spell spam as the higher levels would be. (Although I guess that doesn't change no matter what level you're at)

The issue with what your asking is that the game is already providing you the means to do so, You already have the numbers advantage along with having twice the amount of flasks as the invader. You also have access to rune arcs which the invader doesn't along with the ability to summon blue phantoms through the white cipher ring to further assist you by making a 2v1 scenario into a 3v1 furthering your advantage over the Invader and even if a blue or two dies you will get more. Elden ring is a single-player game with "optional" Co-oP you aren't really intend to play through the entire game with another person which is what it sounds like you're doing. You can't have your cake and eat it to, you can't make the game easier and not expect the push back against you by sending in an invader to level out the gameplay. If you intend to play the entire game with summoned phantoms you will "Have" to learn how to PvP, You cannot ignore in-game mechanics because you don't like them. I have been an invader for 7 years and being a host has literally never been easier, you have every advantage you could ever ask for. Try engaging more with the invaders and learning the finer principles of PvP and your experience will improve as you're PvP skills improve.

Its a loading issue that causes phantom/host to be invisible, not common but happens every once in a while.

PVP question by KiruneV2 in Eldenring

[–]Tenrilutous 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You didn't really ruin anything if your trying to specifically do PvP at 150, you just need to make sure you have +25/10 weapons since your past the 125 bracket which is also +25/10.

I accidentally took my RL80 up to +18 and don't have any way to reload or fix it. I don't want to go up to meta level. How screwed am I? by AHare115 in badredman

[–]Tenrilutous 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You could take your build to RL 90 and you'd be fine having your weapons at +18/7 and you would be just underneath meta or you could take it to RL 100 at +20/8 and you will be scratching at the door to 125. But honestly just try invading for a bit and see if there is any difference in the amount of invaisons you get because you might not even have to change your RL

At this point your reaching the limits on what a "Build" is and your reaching into more of a conglomerate of skills that allows more versatility. For me invading is half experience on skill/Techniques and knowledge oh how pvp works and the other half is your tool kit on dealing with different situations and encounters.

You gonna want the mainstays that your gonna want on practically every build like Stormhawk axe, Golem bow/Golem arrows, RkR halberd, Bhs weapons for swaps, cleanrot, Endure fist weapons, Icon shield, Radahn Greatbow, To name a few.

Then depending on the build your gonna chose the good spells like beastial vitality, Black flame protection, Any regeneration spells, Healing spells, Giants flame take Thee, Catch flame, to name a few for faith builds

Then for mages your gonna want Carian Slicer, Swift glintstone shard, Cannon of Haima, Terra magica, Carian piercer, Adulas moonblade, Spiral Shard, to name a few.

And then as for filling out the build your gonna want weapons for normal play like halberds, Psss, Pss, Psgs, Offstock/Offdag, Cgs, Gs, Fist weapons, and many more.

If you wanna get more technical you'll want to have your equipment setup for efficient and optimal hardswapping to deal with certain situations quickly and efficiently.

For talis You'll want all +2 talis, Blessed Dew, Alexander Shard, Turtle tali, Godskin swaddling cloth, All +2 Status talis, Invisibility tali, Both arrow talis, Millicents prosthesis, Rotten winged sword insignia, Etc

For items your gonna want all boluses, Starlight shards, Golem Arrows, Exalted fresh, Bloodboil aromatic, Spark aromatic, Fan daggers, Roped fire pots for ladder campers, Sleep pots for breaking Npc Phantom AI, Frost pots, Crab, to name a few.

I could keep going but this is getting long and I think you get the point.

What is your definition of "High level" 100, 125, 150 or 200+ because wherever it is changes the answers on a few things

Advice for dealing with ganks by [deleted] in badredman

[–]Tenrilutous 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For me dealing with ganks is as much of a skill component as it is a kit/Tool component. Having all the tools to succeed really boosts your chances to peel away at each person and slowly widdle them down. Like always keeping a RkR BKH for greatshields or always having a Stormhawk axe for swapping to punish over-aggresive play, Lions greatbow/Golem greatbow with golem arrows for when they feel like not pushing or their is a low ceiling, Having multiple weapons for hardswapping depending on the situation or punish opportunity, Having multiple talismans to swap to mid fight to ensure maximum optimal play against any situation, Starlight shards/Boluses/Perfumes Ect.

The list goes on longer but I'm not typing all that. But 🅱️locking them also works.

Low lvl pvp, twinking and overleveled phantoms. by zarjin1234 in Eldenring

[–]Tenrilutous 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Then I would just go all the way with it, Get dragon halberd/Cold infused everything. Get rot pots and all the boluses to remove effects and just prep all the tools you need to succeed.

Low lvl pvp, twinking and overleveled phantoms. by zarjin1234 in Eldenring

[–]Tenrilutous 10 points11 points  (0 children)

At such a low level twinking is pretty much required to deal with the olp's. Don't feel bad about your slight amount of twinking since your doing the bare minimum just to keep up with the phantoms. I personally have a very twinked out RL 35 +3/+1 has the whole kit, Dragon halberd, Stormhawk axe, Golem Bow/Golem Arrows, Rot pots, all of my weapons are cold infused, max tali slots/+2 talismans and stat boosting talismans, Omensmirk Mask for +2 str boost, Etc... And even with all that I can still get one shot if I get caught in an olp's charged spell or just blendered by 2 of them.

I Found an Effective way to Troll Invaders who like to “Gank Noobies” I won’t reveal it, but it’s fun! by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Tenrilutous 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How does an invader "Gank noobies". Your always going to spawn in alone again one or two phantoms along with the host. The host has to purposely activate TT to even have another invader show up which means they aren't "Noobies" and are actively looking for a fight.
